Keep your child swimming this fall; register for swim Y lessons
www.raritanvalleyymca.org for swim info

Don't let your child's swim progress slow this fall! Most New Jersey children spend more time swimming during the summer than any other time of year. Keep their progress moving forward with weekly YMCA swim lessons.
The Raritan Valley YMCA is now accepting registrations for its fall swim lesson program for pre
school, youth, teen, and adults. Classes begin September 8th. The YMCA is known nationally for its instructional swim program. The Y's swim program is held on Sundays at Cook College in New Brunswick and taught from 10am – noon. Visit www.raritanvalleyymca.org for the schedule. Participants will be divided by skill level so that proper instruction is given. The YMCA staff is a team of experienced, trained instructors.
Swimming is more than fun and pleasure. It is a skill that could save your life.
Drowning is the third leading cause of death and second leading cause among children in
the United States, according to the National Safety Council. Two thirds of all drowning
victims cannot swim. The YMCA urges that children begin lessons by the age of 4 and
that all non swimmers take lessons.
Registration and program schedules can be obtained at the YMCA which is located at 144 Tices Lane in East Brunswick. Complete information may be obtained by calling 732-257-4114 or visit us on the web at www.raritanvalleyymca.org.
