New Jersey Citizen Action Fund and the East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) partner to host the online program “Avoiding Healthcare Scams” on Wednesday, August 18 at noon.

Gabrielle Escribano, ACA Outreach Coordinator & Certified Application Counselor at New Jersey Citizen Action Fund, is the presenter for this program.

Topics she will cover include COVID-19 vaccine scams, fraudulent discount programs, the dangers of sharing personal information, scam fees for free programs, fake government phone calls from Medicaid or Medicare, how to tell if you’ve been scammed, and how you can report scams to the authority.
