Looking For Mother's Day Flowers? Check Out The Rutgers Gardens Spring Flower Fair

The Rutgers Gardens Annual Spring Flower Fair will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The event includes a Mother’s Day special: bring your mom to the gardens on Mother’s Day to take part in a free container garden workshop.

The plant sale will feature favorite varieties and an increased selection of difficult-to-find plants, according to the Rutgers Gardens website. Trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses and bamboos, perennials, vines, annuals, herbs and fruits and vegetables will be sold.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Rutgers Gardens Student Internship Program, the website said.

Customers are asked to bring their own garden carts to the sale at Rutgers Gardens, 112 Ryders Lane, New Brunswick. Customers using GPS to find the gardens should use Log Cabin Road, New Brunswick as the address.

The sale hours are:

• 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday
• 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday
• 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday
