Milltown Man Had Large Amounts Of Heroin, Cocaine: Police

Police arrested a Milltown man at his home last Thursday, July 2, where they said they found a large amount of suspected illegal drugs.

MILLTOWN, NJ — Police arrested a Milltown man at his home last Thursday, July 2, where they said they found multiple weapons and a large amount of suspected heroin and cocaine.

The 25-year-old Milltown man has also been charged with two shootings, which police say took place on two different dates in June in North Brunswick, on June 2 and June 30.

Clifton Stokes, a.k.a. “Trap”, 25, of Milltown was arrested July 2 and was charged with four counts of attempted murder in the first degree and weapons charges. In addition, he was charged with multiple drug charges.

Stokes was taken into custody at his Milltown home, and a search of the home by the North Brunswick along with the Middlesex County Special Operations Response Team (SORT) (SWAT) unit, found the heroin and cocaine, say police.

The first shooting occurred at 9:48 p.m. June 2 on the 1000 block of Crescent Court in North Brunswick; police responded to a call of multiple gunshots being fired. Then, at 2:30 p.m. on June 30 police were called to the same location for another report of multiple gunshots.
