He owed the IRS $67,000 in back taxes.

PISCATAWAY, NJ— A Middlesex County man was sentenced to 41 months in prison, after he failed to pay taxes on income earned by selling shoplifted goods on eBay, according to the US Attorney.

Between 2007 and 2014, Dominick James Izzo, 50, would steal from Barnes and Noble stores, and then sell the goods on eBay using fake accounts to conceal his identity. He received payment through wire transfers, before shipping the packages out.
