Free Family Fun Day Highlights Middlesex County Services On June 14

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Middlesex County will host its annual Celebrate Middlesex County event on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Roosevelt Park in Edison.

The free, family-friendly celebration showcases county government programs and services while providing entertainment for all ages.

The event features diverse attractions designed to engage visitors of all ages. Families can enjoy food vendors, live entertainment, games, and activities throughout the day. Interactive offerings include a Touch-a-Truck experience, arts and crafts stations, face painting, and an inflatable obstacle course.

Historical elements add educational value to the celebration, with historical reenactors, a Fife and Drum group, and musket firing demonstrations. Creative activities include caricature and airbrush artists, while Junior Ranger and Bark Ranger photo opportunities provide memorable experiences for children.

Children ages 4 to 14 can participate in the annual Fishing Derby, where they can showcase their skills and compete for prizes. Registration is required by Thursday, June 12, and interested families can sign up through the official Celebrate Middlesex County 2025 Fishing Derby Registration.

The event serves to highlight Middlesex County's government offices and community partners through interactive booths and displays. These exhibits demonstrate the range of services and programs available to county residents, making the celebration both educational and entertaining.
