More Heroin, Cocaine Found In East Brunswick Traffic Stops
Three different motor vehicle stops along Rt. 18 and Old Bridge Turnpike this past October unearthed cocaine and heroin, police said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Three different motor vehicle stops along Rt. 18 and Old Bridge Turnpike this past October unearthed cocaine and heroin, in one instance as many as 35 different packs of the illegal drug, East Brunswick police said.
At 9:20 p.m. on Oct. 2, East Brunswick police pulled a car over on Rt. 18 south near Arthur Street for multiple alleged driving violations. One of the passengers, Cody Borroughs, 23, of Monroe, was found to have 35 small bags of heroin on him, as well as a hypodermic syringe, police said.
Then at 2:40 a.m. on Oct. 13, police pulled a car over on Ryders Lane after it failed to signal for a turn. Brian Bohinski, 43, of Helmetta, was found to be wanted on multiple warrants out of East Brunswick and South River, police said. He also allegedly had nine wax folds of heroin on him.

Then at 4:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 17, police were called to the area of Old Bridge Turnpike and Pine Street for a report of individuals in a car ingesting drugs. Police stopped the car on Old Bridge Tpke. near Rues Lane; the driver, Claudio Grego, 37, of South River, had cocaine on him, police said, which he tried to discard in the back of the squad car when he was taken into custody. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant from North Brunswick for $2,500. The passenger, Beatriz Aguero, 48, of Edison also had heroin on her, police said. She was wanted by New Brunswick police for a $1,000 warrant.
