Multi-library Program Takes A Deep Dive Into Sex and the City
Join us as we talk all things Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda.
There is no doubt that Sex and the City is one of the most critically acclaimed television shows of all time. It won seven of its 54 Emmy Award nominations, eight of its 24 Golden Globe Award nominations, and three of its 11 Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) and four other libraries host an online event featuring the New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Keishin Armstrong on December 8 at 7:00 pm. She discusses the legacy of Sex and the City.
Through viewing and discussing clips from the series, this program explores how the early 2000s television show revolutionized the way women’s relationships—romance and friendships alike—were depicted and takes a look ahead to the upcoming HBO reboot of the series.
