Multiuse Building Application Up For Review In East Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Zoning Board is expected to make a decision on a multiuse building proposed on Route 18 South.

American Brothers Realty Inc. proposed to redevelop the property at 1069 Route 18 South, which was earlier the location of the Chinese restaurant Sunny Palace.

The developers are proposing to build a multi-use building with would contain retail and self-storage space.

The property, around 3.7 acres, is located in the HC-2 General Highway Commercial District.

The building will have four floors – the first, third and fourth floor for self-storage and the second floor for retail.

The Zoning Board will be meeting Thursday, 7:30 p.m. at the courtroom.
