Obituary: Arline Tonghini Pavelchak
South River resident was a mother, grandmother, sister and wife.

Arline Tonghini Pavelchak died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge. She was 90.
Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in South River for most of her life.
Prior to her retirement in 1990, she was the office manager at South River Metal Products for 25 years. Earlier she had worked at FMC Corporation in Carteret.

She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, South River, and was also a member of the parish St. Vincent de Paul Society.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Pavelchak in 1971.

Surviving are two sons, Mark of South River, and Alan of East Brunswick; three sisters, Loretta Langfield of South River, Marion Lambertson of Perth Amboy and Joyce Tiedgen of Perth Amboy; and three grandchildren, Carly, Michael and Samuel.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Church, South River.
Interment will follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902, or the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Corpus Christi Church.
