October is National Cyber Security Month

East Brunswick Public Library hosts two online safety programs this October.

With online safety being a growing issue, East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) joins organizations throughout the country in hosting National Cyber Security Awareness Month programs.

The library hosts the "Cyber Security Lab for Kids" program in the Computer Training Lab on Tuesday, October 9 at 7:00 pm. Using training modules provided by NOVA Labs, children will learn the principles of cybersecurity through a series of coding games and challenges.

The program "Cyber Security for Adults" will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at 7:00 pm in the Computer Training Lab. This presentation gives tips on internet safety and online privacy, including browser tracking, avoiding phishing attempts and social media.
