Opera Talk to Focus on "Cendrillon"
Sponsored by the Arts Commission, the discussion will coincide with a performance of the opera at Mason Gross.

Learn about Jules Massenet’s enchanting opera "Cendrillon," during a wonderful presentation at the East Brunswick Public Library.
Join Arts Commission member Joanna Barouch on Monday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. for a discussion of the work, which was based and inspired by Perrault's 1698 version of “Cinderella.” The presentation will coincide with the work’s performances at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.
Whether or not you are attending a performance, this is a can't-miss event for opera lovers and Cinderella fans of all ages. Cinderella's rags-to-riches story has entranced generations of children, be a part of the next generation during this free presentation. This event is co-sponsored by the East Brunswick Arts Commission.

"Cendrillon" will be performed Fridays, Jan. 27 and Feb. 3 at 8 p.m., and Sundays, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Nicholas Music Center, 85 George St. at Ryders Lane, Douglass Campus, New Brunswick.
