“When we ran together four years ago, you were a tremendous running mate," Wendell said. "You were probably one of the hardest-working members on our team. I just want to thank you for all the time and effort you put into this town.”
Sullivan said it was a “hard choice” not to run for council this year. She thanked the residents for trusting her with representing them.
“Everything I did or voted on, I believe it was for the best of the East Brunswick community,” Sullivan said.
She thanked the officials and staff of East Brunswick for their support. “I stated during my swearing-in speech I hope when my council term is over, East Brunswick is a little better than when I took office. I strongly believe it is.”
