Police To Host Public Safety Awards Thursday In East Brunswick

Meet and celebrate local heroes at the police department's Public Safety Awards Ceremony.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – The East Brunswick Police Department will be hosting the Public Safety Awards Ceremony on Thursday at 6 p.m.

The ceremony will take place at the Jo Ann Magistro Performing Arts Center, Hammarskjold Middle School, 200 Rues Lane. The event is open to the public.

Every year the East Brunswick Police Department recognizes and honors its sworn and non-sworn personnel as a way to show gratitude for the dedication and hard work that they perform.

Although members of the police department show their dedication every day, certain incidents or investigations rise to the level of an award. Each year personnel is nominated by their supervisors, and a review board determines which incidents or investigations will receive a department award.

Police Chief Frank LoSacco has invited residents to the ceremony to support and meet local heroes.
