EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — After two vehicles were stolen last week in East Brunswick, neighboring Milltown is reporting a rise in car burglaries.
On Friday, Milltown police warned residents of the growing number of thefts. “We are experiencing a rise in vehicle burglaries and vehicle thefts. Neighboring towns have reported multiple stolen vehicles on a single night,” police said.
Police reminded residents not to store and/or broadcast valuables in their parked vehicles. They asked residents to lock their vehicle doors and to never leave keys, key fobs or proximity keys inside parked vehicles.
