, 5 a.m., , 65 Witherspoon St, Princeton. Local Anglophiles can watch the wedding of Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton live on TV at Princeton Public Library. The doors of the Community Room will open at 5 a.m., and tea and scones will be served.

Come see Dennis Miller at the State Theater of New Jersey, Friday at 8 p.m. Miller is a five-time Emmy Award-winner for his critically acclaimed half-hour, live talk show Dennis Miller Live which had a nine year run on HBO. He also wrote and starred in the Emmy-nominated cable comedy special Raw Feed, his sixth such special. He was the host and executive producer of CNBC's Dennis Miller,  and was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live.

Saturday

Rutgers University is hosting Rutgers Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Busch, College Avenue, and Cook/Douglass campuses. There will be an archaeological dig, live music, science experiments, mock crime scene and the Scarlet Knights.  These events will take place on both the New Brunswick and Piscataway campuses.  This will take place rain or shine, admission and parking are free.  For more information, visit www.learn.rutgers.edu.  All are welcome.

Come to the NJ Folk Festival Saturday at the Rutgers University, Douglass Campus.  This outdoor event features music and performances on more than one stage.   There will be a craft marketplace, food vendors, children's activities and more!  Admission is free and all are welcome.

On Saturday, April 30th, our team, ERA BuyIt "Family Matters", will be participating in the 14th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women in New York City.  If you can't join in the walk, you can join in the fight by making a pledge or donation on behalf of one of ERA’s team members.  Your pledge will help fund important research into the cause and cure of women's cancers, prevention, education and support service programs.

Come to the State Theater of New Jersey Sunday, at 3 p.m. for a performance of “Love and Other Strangers.” Jewish and Italian worlds collide in a classic romantic comedy as bride and groom prepare to wed. This Broadway hit turned Academy Award-nominated film was written by Renee Taylor and Joe Bologna.

Monday

Everyone is welcome to come to the East Brunswick Public Library and attend the Friends of the Library’s Annual Spring Meeting on Monday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. Visit with humor writer and crossword puzzle constructor Deb Amlen during this free event. Amlen’s work has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Star-Ledger and elsewhere. She also is the creator of a humor column called “Next Exit,” about life in New Jersey for the Springfield Patch. Her first book “It’s Not PMS, It’s You” is in stores and available online now.
