Saint Peter's University Hospital Now Offering Radiology Services Through Diagnostic Imaging, Inc.
Radiology company will offer cancer detection and treatment options

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System announced Wednesday that Diagnostic Imaging, Inc. (DII), a Philadelphia-based radiology practice and member of the vRad Radiology Alliance, has begun delivering diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic radiology services to Saint Peter’s University Hospital, a 478-bed teaching hospital located in New Brunswick, N.J.
Saint Peter’s selected DII because of its long history of collaborating with hospitals throughout southern and central New Jersey and in Pennsylvania, and its expert support across the entire spectrum of patient care.
“The overwhelming majority of the selection committee supported this decision,” said Patricia Carroll, chief operating officer and senior vice president of Saint Peter’s Healthcare System. “We believe that this partnership will allow us to continue delivering excellent care to our community.”
The new partnership allows Saint Peter’s to offer an even broader spectrum of care to the community.
“The DII radiologists have specialized training from some of the most prestigious radiology programs in the country,” said Paul McGinnis, M.D., the new chair of the department of Radiology at Saint Peter’s. “Patients now have access to new advanced services at Saint Peter’s such as MRI-guided breast biopsies for the detection of breast cancer and radioembolization treatment for inoperable liver cancer.”
Bruce Lehrman, M.D., DII practice president, is excited to begin delivering a new model for radiologic care.
