EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Middlesex County's Office of Arts and History is offering two free craft workshops as we head into the holiday season. These sessions will teach you how to dress up your home during the changing seasons and help you get into the holiday spirit.
Both workshops will be held at the Lodge in Thompson Park, located at 1701 Perrineville Rd. in Monroe Township. The first workshop, "Design on a Dime: Harvest Tablescape and Fall Crafts," is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8. Marianne Axon of the online shop Homemade by Marianne, will demonstrate a fall, harvest-themed tablescape and lead attendees in hands-on crafts, such as decorating pumpkins and creating glass luminaries.
The second workshop, "Seasonal Wreath Making," is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6. Crystal Pasley, of the online shop Red Wreath Décor, will lead workshop participants in the art of winter and holiday mesh wreath making.
