The East Brunswick Police Department has requested that the school district implement a “shelter-in-place” at all facilities because of an active police investigation in town.

The shelter-in-place is a precautionary measure to keep all students and staff safe while continuing regular operations, police said.

Parents will be allowed into school buildings for previously scheduled business including the "History Con" event at Hammarskjold Middle School.
