EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The world’s largest smoothie chain is now open in East Brunswick.
Smoothie King recently celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony with township officials.
Present during the ceremony were Mayor Bard Cohen, Council President Kevin McEvoy and Economic Development Officer Rob Zuckerman.

“Our business community continues to grow- welcome to East Brunswick,” Cohen said.
East Brunswick’s Route 18 corridor has now emerged as a go-to destination for many new businesses that have opened recently.

The revival of Route 18 has long been a part of the township redevelopment project. Apart from businesses, “Vermella East Brunswick,” a luxury apartment development is also coming up in the area. The property is being developed by Russo Development and River Development.
A juice bar that serves freshly blended smoothies, Smoothie King has over 50 locations in New Jersey including North Brunswick, New Brunswick, and Edison.
Their goal is to help people reach their health and diet goals by serving “high-quality, great-tasting" smoothies, according to their website.
In East Brunswick, they are located at 285 Route 18
