South River Free-Throw Basketball Tournament This Weekend

All South River children from kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to participate.

SOUTH RIVER, NJ - The annual South River Police Department Basketball Free Throw Tournament will take place this Saturday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. in the South River Middle School gymnasium. All South River children from kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to participate.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three winners in each of the six age groups, as well as to the overall champion (37 awards total). Refreshments will also be available for purchase. Waivers must be completed by the participant’s parent/guardian and are asked to be submitted no later than Thursday, March 23. Waivers have been sent home with students and can be turned into the school.

Additional waivers can be obtained at the main office of each school or at South River police headquarters located at 61 Main Street. Waivers will also be available at the door for walk-in participants, however a parent/guardian must be present to sign them. All participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
