Special Olympics Torch Run Through East Brunswick Friday
The runners will be heading through East Brunswick starting at approximately 10 a.m. Friday. Here's their route:

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Officers with the East Brunswick Police Department and surrounding towns will participate in the NJ Special Olympics Torch Run this Friday, June 9. The runners will be heading through East Brunswick starting at approximately 10 a.m. Friday.
The runners will be coming from Spotswood onto Summerhill Road. They will then travel onto Racetrack Road, crossing over Highway 18 onto Old Bridge Turnpike. From there, the runners will travel into South River, returning back into East Brunswick and onto Highway 18 at Milltown Road near Magnifico’s.
They will then run north on Highway 18 to Mid State Mall. From there they will run down Tices Lane, crossing over Ryders Land and into Milltown.
