Stabbing Leaves Man Dead, Woman Critical In Middlesex County
Authorities responded to a Kamm Avenue home Thursday morning and found two stabbing victims.
SOUTH RIVER, NJ — A man is dead, and a woman was hospitalized in critical condition following a stabbing at a South River home on Thursday, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera and South River Police Chief Mark Tinitigan.
Officers responded to a Kamm Avenue home at 10:01 a.m. after a 911 call reporting a disturbance. Authorities found a woman and an unresponsive man with multiple stab wounds, police said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition, authorities said.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Authorities said there is no threat to the public. The names and identities of both victims have not been released.
