State Police Arrest Man For Stealing $17 In Gas, Recover $100,000 Worth Of Fraudulent Credit Cards
A New Jersey State Trooper arrested a Brooklyn man for stealing $17 of gas and recovered more than $100,000 worth of fraudulent credit cards

During the arrested of a 20-year-old Brooklyn man who allegedly stole $17 worth of gas, state police found the man in possession of $100,000 worth of stolen credit cards.
On Nov. 11, Gianni Simon used a fraudulent credit card at the Thomas Edison Service Area Sunoco to put $17 of gas into a white Infiniti G35 sedan.
When approached by the gas attendant, Simon grabbed the credit card and headed southbound on the Turnpike.

Dispatchers put a “Be On The Lookout” (B.O.L.O) on the vehicle which was later spotted near the Molly Pitcher Service Area by Trooper Adam Brozek.
He was arrested for theft and an investigation led troopers to obtain a search warrant on Nov. 14 to search the vehicle which contained 204 additional suspected fraudulent credit cards.

Simon was charged with Possession of a Fraudulent Credit Card, Use of a Fraudulent Credit Card, and Theft of Services and lodged in Middlesex County Jail with bail set at $50,000 full cash.
