Still No Winner Claims $1M Lottery Ticket Sold In Middlesex

The NJ Lottery continues to search for whoever purchased a million-dollar ticket at the Joyce Kilmer rest stop last year. It expires Dec. 8.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Nobody has yet to come forward to claim a million-dollar lottery ticket sold in Middlesex County earlier this year — and the redemption period expires this Friday, Dec. 8!

The ticket was sold around this time last year, in early December, 2016, along the New Jersey Turnpike at the Joyce Kilmer rest stop, which is technically located in Milltown, NJ.

That ticket ended up matching all the winning numbers from the Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016 drawing, which were: 08, 28, 29, 49 and 57. The Cash Ball was: 03. The winning ticket will match all five of the white balls, but not the Cash ball, drawn that evening. The winner must have possession of the ticket to claim the prize.

Because it matched the Dec. 8, 2016 drawing, that means the ticket will expire one year from the drawing, which is this Friday, Dec. 8, 2017.

“We encourage all of our New Jersey Lottery players to do a thorough search of their nooks and crannies at home and elsewhere because we want to make a CASH4LIFE player a jackpot winner. It would be a great way to make this holiday season even more festive," said Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director.
