Take A Business Break With The East Brunswick Public Library
The goal is to provide small business owners to get tips from experts during their lunch break.
EAST BRUNSWICK—East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) is launching the Take A Business Break Series of online programs on Thursdays afternoon. The goal is to provide small business owners to get tips from experts during their lunch break.
The first program, “PPP Loan Forgiveness and Tax Provisions for Small Businesses,” is on Thursday, June 11 at 12:00 pm. The Small Business Administration’s PPP Loan program will be explained, as well as exploring the forgiveness calculations. Other topics covered include tax provisions that small businesses can use to raise funds and increase liquidity, the employee retention tax credit, the employer payroll tax deferral provision, and the qualified paid leave provisions.

Mendlowitz hosts a second program on Thursday, June 25 at 12:00 pm. Titled “SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) Analysis,” the audience will learn how to grow their business by identifying where to channel their time and energy with this self-assessment tool. Specific illustrations will explain each section of the process.
