Third Place Lottery Ticket Sold in Middlesex County

A Mega Millions ticket, with a third place prize of $5,000, was sold at Wegmans Food Markets. Friday's drawing is worth $127 million.

Two third-prize Mega Millions lottery tickets were purchased for last night’s drawing, including one that was bought in Woodbridge, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

There were no jackpot or second place winners, but one of the third place tickets, which carries a $5,000 prize, was sold at Wegmans Food Markets, 15 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge.

The other was sold at a 7-Eleven in Nutley, according to a Lottery press release.

The third place tickets matched the numbers on four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball. Another 22 tickets matched four white ball numbers, and those winning tickets have a $500 prize.

The winning numbers for the Feb. 24 drawing were: 15, 23, 26, 45 and 66. The Gold Mega Ball was 04, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.

The next Mega Millions game will be held Friday, when the jackpot will roll to $127 million.
