Video From Impeach Trump Rally In New Brunswick

The group called on Rep. Frank Pallone to join Trump impeachment calls, saying he has been too quiet on the issue.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Here is some video from the "Impeach Trump" rally held Wednesday evening in New Brunswick. About 30 people attended the rally, organizers estimate. Speakers included Rev. Seth Kaper-Dale, the pastor at the Reformed Church of Highland Park and who is running as the Green Party candidate for New Jersey Governor and Bill Brennan, the former North Jersey firefighter who sued Gov. Chris Christie over Bridgegate and ran unsuccessfully for New Jersey governor.

Teresa Vivar of Lazos America Unida, Junior Romero of Food & Water Watch, an environmental group that is vocally against the pipeline projects in New Jersey, and Charlie Kratovil, Editor of New Brunswick Today, were among the organizers, as well.

The rally was held at 67 Church Street, the location of Congressman Frank Pallone's New Brunswick. Rep. Pallone, a Democrat, represents that district, New Jersey's sixth. The group called on Pallone to join Trump impeachment calls, saying he has been too quiet on the issue. In response, Rep. Pallone released the following statement to Patch:

“I have great concerns about the Trump administration’s interactions with Russia and its disregard for the law. I support the Mueller investigation and the continued work of Congressional committees that are investigating the many inappropriate and potentially unlawful actions of President Trump. We need to gain all available information on the President’s misconduct, which I believe could very well lead to impeachment.”
