Water Main Break Causes Road Closure In East Brunswick, Disrupts Service
Residents may experience low pressure or discolored water, officials said.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A water main break on Milltown Road is causing lane closures, traffic delays and potential service disruptions for nearby residents, township officials said.
Milltown Road eastbound is closed between Edna Street and Farms Road while the East Brunswick Water Utility Department makes repairs.
Police are on scene directing traffic and assisting motorists. Detour signs are posted, and drivers are advised to use caution and allow extra travel time. Motorists who can avoid the area are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Residents in the immediate area may experience low water pressure, discolored water or a temporary loss of water service during the repair process. The timeline for repairs has not been determined.

- Run cold water for several minutes and flush toilets once or twice to help clear discolored water.
- Avoid doing laundry until water color returns to normal.
