9/11 Memorial 5K Race/Walk for the benefit of Veteran’s Organizations

The Knights of Columbus are organizing the 2nd

annual 9/11 Memorial 5K Race/Walk for the benefit of Veteran’s Organizations.

Florham Park, NJ.   The Knights of Columbus announced plans to donate all net profits from their 2nd annual 9/11 Memorial 5K Race/Walk to assist service members who have been injured in the line of duty; as well as the families of those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice.  All net proceeds from the event will be donated to the nonprofit organizations Wounded Warrior Project and That Others May Live Foundation.  Both organizations support a full range of programs and services for this generation of Warriors and their families.

Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP) began when several veterans

and friends, moved by stories of the first wounded service members returning
home from Afghanistan and Iraq, took action to help others in need. What
started as a program to provide comfort items to wounded service members has
grown into a complete rehabilitative effort to assist warriors as they recover
and transition back to civilian life. www.woundedwarriorproject.com
