Don’t PUT Away Those Golf Clubs Just Yet! Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club is Offering the “PUTT Away Golf Getaway”

Autumn has officially arrived and while football, pumpkins and hayrides may be on everyone’s mind, now is also a great time to enjoy a round of golf in the crisp, fall weather at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club, one of the premier resort destinations in the Northeast. Seaview has recently announced the Putt Away Golf Getaway package, inviting golfers to take on one of the resort’s Championship courses, enjoy a 20% discount on room rates and experience fall foliage at its finest in Southern New Jersey.

“We want to remind golfers that the beautiful fall weather makes for fantastic playing conditions,” said Kevin DeDonato, Director of Golf Operations at Seaview Golf Club. “Not only is the timing great, but we are offering a great discount on room rates to sweeten the deal.”

Located just minutes from Atlantic City, Seaview’s unique and historical resort setting is home to two of New Jersey’s oldest and most prestigious golf courses. The famed links-style Bay Course, which was designed by legendary architect Donald Ross, is home to the ShopRite LPGA Classic and offers scenic views of the Atlantic City skyline. The critically acclaimed Pines Course, however, offers a distinctly different golf experience, with a scenic parkland setting that showcases the inherent beauty of Southern New Jersey’s pine forest landscape, with an abundance of colorful fall foliage at this time of year.

For travelers that haven’t been to Seaview recently, the resort and golf courses just underwent a multi-million dollar enhancement project highlighted by the new Bayview Terrace, a beautifully landscaped outdoor patio, and the creation of a 2,500 square foot satellite gallery for the renowned Noyes Museum of Art of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Guests can now enjoy fine art, crafts and folk art by acclaimed artists from New Jersey and the Mid Atlantic region, with exhibits rotating throughout the year.

Upon arriving, guests will immediately experience the recently refreshed Lobby, Main Dining Room, Oval Room and Corridor, boasting clean lined furniture, exotic textiles, neutral colors, and bold patterns which still reflect the resort’s genteel past, while providing all the modern amenities today’s resort travelers have come to expect.

Renovations to the Bay Course included a complete bunker restoration and an improved drainage system on select holes, while the Pines Course benefited from a bunker restoration; a cart path upgrade; and the removal of select trees throughout the course, designed to open up the fairways.  Additionally, the Golf Shop and the women’s and men’s locker rooms have been completely renovated.

The Putt Away Golf Getaway includes accommodations for two; one round of golf for two, including cart; and two range tokens per room. The package is valid through November 30, 2012. For more information, call the resort at 855-894-8698 or click here.
