During a Friends of Florham sponsored lecture featuring Carol McD. Wallace, the co-author of the inspiration behind “Downton Abbey,” on Oct. 21, Assemblywoman Mila Jasey presented a Resolution from the New Jersey State Legislature to the Friends of Florham for providing assistance for the historic preservation of the Twombly Estate located on FDU’s College at Florham campus. The mission of the Friends of Florham is to inform the public of the various historical assets the University offers the community by offering various lectures that are open to the public, and to raise funds through galas, contributions, and grants to preserve this grand historic site.
