Celebrate 57 Years with Employment Horizons

Employment Horizons' Annual Recognition Dinner with Honorary Chairman Brendan Holden (Cablevision) Celebrates Local Honorees

Join Employment Horizons and “Celebrate With Us”, at our Annual Recognition Dinner on October 16th at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany. Premium event sponsors include The Walsh Family Fund of the Community Foundation of New Jersey, Christine Conti-Collins and Dan Collins, and Bayer Healthcare. The annual fundraiser recognizes the achievements of program participants and members of the local community who support the agency’s mission to empower people with special needs to fulfill their vocational goals.

Employment Horizons, an innovative nonprofit agency assists individuals with disabilities to develop job skills and attain employment and economic independence through collaboration and partnership with businesses, academic institutions and government. Utilizing its core business programs to provide work opportunities to individuals with disabilities in the greater Morris County area, Employment Horizons continues to make progress in removing stigmas and barriers that have impeded progress for many with disabilities.

Brendan Holden, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management - Cablevision, will serve as the event’s Honorary Chairman. “Knowing that my company has been a business partner of Employment Horizons for over a decade makes me proud to be part of Cablevision,” said Holden. “During my recent visit to the facility, I was overwhelmed by the excitement, sense of accomplishment and appreciation expressed by the individuals working on our behalf.”

The evening will include a ticket and silent auction as well as a 50/50 raffle. Dinner honorees include Joseph Forgione, JMF Properties, Make a Difference Award; Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Helping Hands Award; ISI North America, Inc., Contractor of the Year; Knights of Columbus Council #2086, Chatham, Community Service Award; Catherine Syfor, President’s Award; and Laura Callahan, William Huber Achievement Award.
