"Better Than It Sounds", A Somewhat Humorous Look at the Music of Wagner and His Composer "Frenemies", will feature the music of Wagner (of course), Strauss, Verdi, Massenet, Rossini, Gounod and Humperdinck. Presenting the program are sopranos Elizabeth Perryman and Genya Muzyczka, accompanied by pianist David Maiullo. The artists wish to assure everyone that knowledge of opera is not a prerequisite to enjoy this concert. Translations will be provided and there will be commentary throughout the program.
