Once again, Congregation Beth Torah of Florham Park, a warm and welcoming Conservative synagogue, will hold Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services at The Ramada Inn, 130 Route 10 West in East Hanover. Services will be conducted by our distinguished, spiritual leader, Rabbi Kenneth M. Tarlow and chanted by Michael Morris.Beth Torah has been serving the community and neighboring towns for over 25 years. This small but active congregation provides multiple programs for members of all ages. There is a solid Adult Ed program, a lively Sisterhood which hosts a Book Club, Mah Jong lessons and Tournaments as well as fundraising efforts activities all year long. The Men's Club performs mitzvahs for the synagogue as well as engaging in social/sporting events. Also, the Hebrew School provides outstanding Jewish education and preparation for Bar/Bat Mitzvah students. Finally, because the synagogue is small, Rabbi Tarlow is very appraochable and members are able to connect with him on a personal level through all the various programs. The congregation wishes to invite all members of the Jewish community to experience this connection. Rosh Hashanah observance begins at 6:30 pm on September 16 at the synagogue at 165 Ridgedale Avenue in Florham Park. On September 17 and 18, services will begin at the Ramada at 9:15 am. Kol Nidre, which begins on September 25 at 6:30 pm will be at The Ramada and the following day, September 26 services will start at 9:15 am. Additionally, Break-Fast will be served after the shofar is blown Wednesday night.
