Ex-Jet Winslow Gets Conditional Discharge in Synthetic Pot Case, Report Says

If NFL veteran avoids arrest, meets probation officers for one year, charge will be dropped.

As long as ex-New York Jet Kellen Winslow doesn’t get arrested or miss his probation meetings for the next year, he’ll have a possession of synthetic marijuana charge dismissed after an East Hanover Judge ruled a conditional discharge in the case this week.

The NFL tight end whose one-year contract with the Jets expired this offseason was arrested in November when police initially responded to a report of a lewd act. While Winslow was not charged with lewdness, police found labeled bags of synthetic marijuana in his car.

According to nj.com, Judge Vincent Pirone refused to dismiss the charge, but granted a conditional discharge in the case.
