Florham Park Man Killed In Connecticut Crash: Police

He was pronounced dead at the hospital police said.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ— A Florham Park man was killed in a car accident in Connecticut, according to Connecticut State Police.

Robert G. Bearden, 76, was killed in the Wednesday morning crash. He was alone in the car when it veered off the road, striking a pole before rolling over.

No other cars appeared to be involved, but the investigation is ongoing.

Road conditions were good at the time. "The weather conditions were clear and the traffic was light. The road surface was dry with some wet patches due to melting snow," State Police said in a press release.

EMS took Bearden to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
