HeinoldThomas to Hold Live Webcast on Wednesday, October 29th to Interact with Voters in Real Time

Since some voters could not attend the BOE Candidates Night,The HeinoldThomas Campaign will host a live webcast on Wed., 10/29 at 8:30 PM.

The General Elections on November 4, 2014 are just two weeks away. Since some voters could not attend the BOE Candidates Night, sponsored by the League of Women Voters, on Tuesday, October 21, The HeinoldThomas Campaign will host a live webcast on Wednesday, October 29th at 8:30 PM.


“This webcast will allow all voters to listen to our platform and then be given the interactive opportunity to ask us questions during real time” said Alita Thomas. “We want to reach voters any way we can and understand that with previous commitments and juggling schedules, it is not always easy for people to get out and meet us in person. With today’s technology this is the next best thing” said Kristina Heinold.


The live webcast can be accessed as follows:
1. In an internet browser, enter the following url: http://connectpro55779422.adobeconnect.com/r2hdmrp8rna/
2. On the log-in screen, select ‘Enter as a Guest’ and type your name and click ‘Enter Room’.
3. When prompted, dial the toll free access line from any phone: 888-205-5513 and enter passcode: 732756

Please note that to participate via iPad, you must install the Adobe Connect Mobile app (as a free download) from the iPad’s app store prior to joining the meeting.

To speak with the presenters during the meeting participants may type a question directly into the Q&A Chat Module. The question will only be visible to the moderators and will be addressed when possible.

According to Thomas, “We are really looking forward to using the technology available in today’s society to meet voters and share our views.” Added Heinold “We understand the need to be current and meet the ever-changing needs of our children, the school district and the community as a whole. We encourage everyone to log-on so they can hear first hand what we hope to achieve being members of the Florham Park Board of Education.”

Mrs. Thomas holds her law degree from Widener University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish from Muhlenberg College. Her years in the workforce include working at a Pennsylvania County District Attorney’s office, acting as a judicial law clerk for two terms, and advocating for the defense of medical malpractice cases on behalf of physicians and hospitals. Mrs. Thomas set aside her career a few years ago to focus on her family. In this time period, she became a certified substitute teacher and is actively involved in many aspects the Florham Park PTA including four years as a class mom. She is also co-leader to Florham Park’s Den 4, Pack 2 of the Boy Scouts of America. Mrs. Thomas, has resided in Florham Park with her husband Gene and son Michael for 5 years.

Mrs. Heinold holds her Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Finance from Villanova University. For the past 15 years, she has worked in various sales and marketing roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. While Mrs. Heinold is a working mom, she is also involved with many aspects of the PTA such as co-chairing the fall fundraiser and Teacher Appreciation Week, soliciting for the spring fundraiser and acting as class mom for the past 4 years. She is also co-leader to Brownie Troop 95048 of Girl Scouts of the USA in Florham Park. Mrs. Heinold, her husband George and 4 children, ages 3 to 8 have lived in Florham Park for the past 10 years.
