Home Health Care Aide Accusing Of Stealing Florham Park Resident's Identity
Police say the home health aide took out a credit card in the victim's name.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — A home health care aide is accused of stealing an elderly Florham Park resident's identity to sign up for a credit card, Florham Park police said.
Elizabeth Perez, 43, from Randolph, is accused of taking the identity of a patient she was supposed to be caring for. The victim's daughter uncovered the scheme when multiple unauthorized transactions popped up on bank records, police said.
The aide allegedly used the victim's information to register for a credit card and make purchases. Perez was arrested on Aug. 4 after a "lengthy investigation," police said.
