"My father, Joseph J. Longo, was a close friend of Bill Huber," Longo said. "While I did not know him personally, Joe Sr. has fond memories of Bill and his genuine good heart. He was a 'class act' and never was too busy to contribute his time and money for the benefit of those in need. I am humbled to be mentioned in the same breath with the likes of Bill and all the past recipients of this distinguished award."
