Teen In Stolen Car Led Police On Chase Through Florham Park
After the teen crashed the car, he took off on foot, police said.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — A teenager from Brooklyn lead Florham Park police in a car chase through town Monday night, after police tried to pull him over for driving a stolen car.
The teen, who police did not name, was driving a car reported stolen out of New York, police said. Officers tried to pull the teen over on Columbia Turnpike around 8 p.m., but he fled from police.
Following a short chase, police said the teen crashed the car and ran into a wooded area on foot. He was found a short while later with help from the the Morris County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit.

Once he was arrested, the teen allegedly gave police several fake names. He was eventually identified as a juvenile from Brooklyn, New York.
He was charged with eluding, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, obstructing administration of law, hindering apprehension, operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, driving without a license, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to observe a traffic control device, and unsafe lane change.
