Four people were arrested on weapons and drug charges after detectives with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office responded to a routine civil complaint on Monday.

Investigators say they discovered evidence of marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia in plain sight while responding to the complaint at a home on the 200 block of Andrew Street in Hamilton Township at about noon.

Detectives then obtained a court-ordered search warrant for the premises and a safe located in the basement of the home, Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler said on Tuesday.
