“The Mercer County One-Stop has an established connection to a number of talented people in our region who might find themselves to be a good fit for a career at Amazon, and my administration has built a strong partnership with Amazon to connect people who are eager to work with jobs there and at other nearby businesses,” Hughes said.
Additionally, the shuttle that runs from Hamilton Marketplace to the Matrix Business Park in Robbinsville, partially funded by Mercer County, allows candidates without other means of transportation to get to jobs in the Matrix Business Park. To date, the shuttle has provided about 50,000 rides.
“With this important transportation component in place, we continue to encourage people who rely on public transportation to take advantage of the opportunity to apply for a position at Amazon or any other job in the business park,” Hughes said. “I encourage job seekers to reach out to our One-Stop Career Center to learn more about how Mercer County One-Stop can assist them.”
