• Ribbon Cutting Marks Sprouts Farmers Market Opening In East Windsor (patch.com) — East Windsor residents now have a new option for fresh, natural and organic groceries with the opening of Sprouts Farmers Market at East Windsor Village. Mayor Janice Mironov and council members marked the ribbon cutting, highlighting new local jobs, extended daily hours, and a wide range of specialty items from prepared foods to bulk goods.
   

• Kreps Middle School Jazz Band Change Strikes Sour Note with Parents (tapinto.net) — East Windsor parents are pushing back after Melvin H. Kreps Middle School shifted its popular jazz band elective into an occasional lunch-period activity, cutting dedicated instructional time. A parent raised concerns about communication and music education quality at the Aug. 31 school board meeting, and the superintendent pledged to review scheduling issues before the board's next meeting on September 14.
