Assault By Auto, Reckless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter
A woman was found at Motel 6 with drugs, drug paraphernalia and weapons, police said.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ – The East Windsor police blotter released March 2 contained the following reports:
On Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., an officer responded to Motel 6 on Route 33 for an activated fire alarm. Investigation revealed that a motel patron was smoking and activated the alarm. The 34-year-old Howell resident provided the officer with false information regarding her identity and was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest from another jurisdiction, police said. The woman was also in possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and weapons, police said. She was placed under arrest and released pending court action.
On Feb. 25 at 1:37 p.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing the vehicle driving carelessly on Lake Drive. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests, police said. The 22-year-old Freehold resident was charged with DUI, reckless driving and other offenses. He was later released pending court action.

On March 25, at 8:32 p.m., an officer responded to the area of Mercer Street and Hickory Corner Road for a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that the driver, a 48-year-old Hightstown woman, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. She was later released pending court action.
On Feb. 28 at 5:01 p.m., an officer responded to Route 33 near Motel 6 for a motor vehicle accident. According to investigation, the driver responsible for the crash exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver, a 51-year-old Plainsboro resident was later released pending court action. The driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
