Bucks County Ancestry Fair celebrates our past
Bucks County Genealogical Society and the Genealogical Society of PA proudly co-host the 8th Annual Ancestry Fair on September 20, 2014.

Do you know who you really are? Get on the right track for answers at the Bucks County Visitors Center, 3207 Street Road in Bensalem, during the Bucks County Ancestry Fair on Saturday, Sept. 20th from 9-4. This year’s fair will carry a military theme, in honor of the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 and the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. Two tracks of programs will be presented by professional genealogists: Military Research and Beginning Genealogy. In addition to the speaker presentations, there will be exhibitors representing genealogical, historical and lineage societies, repositories, and Family History Center, as well as an “Ask the Expert” panel for free research and organization assistance.
With the increase in genealogy-based shows on television, such as “Who Do You Think You Are”, and the growth in digitization of records being made available online, family history is becoming quite a popular trend. If you are curious about who YOU are, be sure to stop by for some great ideas to jump start or enhance your family history research. So bring your virtual shovel to start digging up your roots!
Admission is free and open to the public. Door prizes will be awarded to some lucky guests! For complete information including schedule of speakers and list of exhibitors, please visit http://www.bucksgen.org/index.php/ancestry-fair-2014.
