Collectible Franklin Mint USS Missouri (BB-63) with Display Case

Beautiful Colecttible Frankin Mint USS Missouri Battleship with Display Case, great condition, Some noticeable scratches.

Franklin Mint USS Missouri (BB-63)"Mighty Mo" w/ Display Case Franklin Mint Iowa Class Battleship USN, USS Missouri. The "Mighty Mo"was commissioned in June 1944, and spent most of her career in Pacific. She arrived at Okinawa on April 1st, 1945, in time to take part in the storming of the island by American forces. She is best remembered because on September 2nd, 1945, the formal surrender of the Japanese was signed upon the her deck.Placed out of commission in reserve on February 26, 1955, she remained at the Puget Sound shipyards until 1984 when plans for her reactivation began. Currently the USS Missouri Battleship is on display at Pearl Harbor.Details include sea planes, ramps, lifeboats and rafts; gun turrets pivot and rotate; propellers turn; SK-2 radar unit on foremast. Comes with hardwood base and glass cover.
