
Craig J. Bronish, 63, of East Windsor died Saturday, Feb. 19 at the VA Medical Center in East Orange. Born in Princeton, he was an area resident his entire life.
Bronish was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War where he proudly served as a Brown Water River Rat. He was awarded two silver stars and one bronze star during his career. He was an active member and Past Commander of and was an active member of American Legion Post 148 in East Windsor. Craig was a member of Carpenters Local #31, Trenton, the Mobil Riverine Force and in Hightstown. In addition to his service to all of these organizations, he was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Lorraine Bronish, he is survived by his wife Phyllis, one sister and brother in law, Christel and Stu, two nephews, Russ and Lee, one step son, Ted, and one step-daughter, Tracey. He was the grandfather of four grandchildren: Jackson, Sadie, Alexa and Rylee.

Friends and family may call at the , 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. Veterans services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at in Hightstown. Burial will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
