Cranbury Township Committee to Discuss Capital Improvements

The water buffer zone is also on tonight's agenda.

The Cranbury Township Committee will open its session to the public tonight, Monday, at 7:30 p.m. for its semi-monthly meeting.

The committee is slated to discuss spending $1.36 million on capital improvements using surplus moneys, the capital improvement fund and existing capital ordinances. The ordinance to do so will be up for introduction, according to the agenda posted to the township website.

Another ordinance up for introduction would address requirements from the state Department of Environmental Protection regarding water buffer zones. In an , officials said that wouldn't change Cranbury's existing laws even if the numbers in the new law are different, but some members of the public have expressed doubts.
