The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On March 27, at 12:05 p.m., an officer responded to Target for a report of a past tense shoplifting. On three separate occasions, the suspect shoplifted a total of $931.92 worth of merchandise. The officer identified a suspect as a 47-year-old Cinnaminson resident and charged them accordingly.
On March 28, at 3:18 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Windsor Hotel after observing the front seat passenger not wearing his seatbelt. The officer met with the person and also observed the vehicle’s front license plate was improperly displayed. The driver was found to have active warrants out of Pemberton and Lakehurst and a suspended license. The 33-year-old East Brunswick resident was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released on her own recognizance.

On March 28, at 7:08 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing one of the vehicle’s brake lights out. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of East Windsor. The 22-year-old was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.
On March 28, at 8:52 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of East Windsor Town Center after seeing the driver fail to observe the red traffic signal and the vehicle had illegal window tint. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of Atlantic County and was placed under arrest. The 25-year-old Camden resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

On March 29, at 3:26 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a fictitious temporary registration affixed to the rear of the vehicle. The driver provided a fictitious insurance card to the officer. Additionally, the vehicle was found to be unregistered and uninsured; therefore; it was impounded. The driver was charged on a complaint summons pending court action.
On March 29, at 11:12 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after seeing the vehicle being operated erratically. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 43-year-old Hightstown resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, but refused to comply with breath testing procedures. The driver was later released pending court action.
On March 30, 2:15 a.m., an officer responded to Covington Drive for multiple reports of a suspicious driver that was having difficulty parking his van. The concerned callers believed the driver was intoxicated. The officer located the van and the driver showed signs of impairment. The 48-year-old Eat Windsor resident was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. He was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.
On March 31, at 6:35 p.m., a driver responded to the area near 191 Dutch Neck Road for a report that a white box truck was in the middle of the road, obstructing traffic, and the driver was asleep at the wheel. The driver showed signs of narcotics use and impairment. Additionally, the driver was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and suspected prescription drugs. The driver was charged on a complaint summons pending court action.
